Bastille (BΔSTILLE)最早是Dan Smith在2010年的一個一人計畫但最後決定以樂團的形式繼續~
很多人開始認識都是因為他們2013年2月24日發行的單曲"Pombeii"~
這首也是他們在世界各地成績最好也最為人所知的單曲~

但是我在聽到他們的Pombeii之前~
我反而是因為這首在2013年6月3日發行的單曲"Laura Palmer"~
一開始就被他們非常具戲劇感的開場及風格吸引住~
後來才知道我被這首歌吸引的真正原因~
這首是主唱兼作者Dan以他喜歡的影集"Twin Peaks"(雙峰)為靈感寫出的歌曲~(我超愛雙峰的啊!!!)
而歌名Laura Palmer就是在影集一開場就遇害的女主角的名字也難怪我的潛意識在我一聽到這首歌的就愛上~
